Manfred and the MLB owners tried their hardest to take away baseball away from us this summer, but luckily, they didn’t prevail. It’ll be the first season in two years, where from start to finish, it’ll be normal, and we’re pumped for that.
If you want to make money on this MLB season you came to the right place. We have ten futures for you that you should be placing right now. There are so many sportsbooks now that you must shop around for better lines. You’ll see one book offer Over 71.5 wins and another for 70.5 wins.
- Washington Nationals Season Win Total Over 69.5 (-110)

This is why you shop lines. Over 69.5 for -110 or over 72.5 wins for Even. You’re paying ten cents more at Fanduel for three more wins! We’re playing this because of one guy, Juan Soto. They had an awful season last year potentially pushing this number lower. They still got a quality roster with Victor Robles in center, Soto in right, Nelson Cruz DH’ing, and big Josh Bell at first. They’ll get to 70. C’mon Patrick Corbin.
- Detroit Tigers Season Win Total Over 77.5 (-125) or 78.5 (+105)

The Tigers finished last season with 77 wins and that’s where their total is at this year. They have a lowkey pitching staff with Eduardo Rodriguez, Mize, Turnbull, and Manning, who can all have their days. Detroit is looking at a new roster with Baez, Meadows, and their #1 pick from two years ago, Spencer Torkelson, all expected to have quality seasons.
- Texas Rangers Season Win Total Over 74.5 (-110)

We believe in spending money on the best players. Rangers spent the most money this offseason and have put together a solid roster. They got a very quality infield now with Marcus Semien at 2nd, Corey Seager at Short, and second year guy Nathaniel Lowe at 1st. Let’s see 75 wins.
- Oakland Athletics Season Win Total Over 67.5 (-122)

Seeing a wide-range of numbers for the moneyballers. Anywhere between 67.5 to 70.5 wins, and we are all over this over. Per usual, the A’s spent zero dollars in free agency, but they always put together a solid team and grow through their farm system. We need a big season out of Stephen Vogt, and this is a 70-win team.
- New York Mets Season Win Total Under 91.5 (-125)

We’re seeing anywhere from 88.5 wins to 91.5 wins for Steve Cohen’s team. The Mets have been active this offseason, but don’t forget that they are the Mets. Their two best pitchers, Scherzer and deGrom, are already beat up and likely will be out a few weeks (deGrom confirmed at least four weeks) to start the season. Sorry Mets fans but take this under.
- Toronto Blue Jays Season Win Total Over 92.5 (-110)

This one has inched higher, but we believe the Blue Jays are the best team in baseball. They have the most complete roster and probably the best hitter in baseball with Vladdy. Gurriel, Springer, and Teoscar Hernandez make for a scary outfield. They should cruise to 95 wins and win the AL East.
- AL MVP – Luis Robert (+2200), Byron Buxton (+1600), & Kyle Tucker (+2500)

In that order, that is who we like for AL MVP. For Robert, the White Sox are expected to have a stellar season, and Luis will be the face of their lethal lineup. He was injured a good chunk of the season last year, but when he did play, he had the highest average hits per game. The center-fielder for the Twins, Buxton, has the fourth shortest odds and has huge expectations this season. Finally, the Astros have lost their core talent of Springer and Correa opening the door for the young Kyle Tucker to get more at-bats and have a quality season.
- AL Rookie of the Year – Julio Rodriguez (+400)

Rodriguez has the second shortest odds to win ROTY behind the Royals’ Bobby Witt Jr. Rodriguez is the No. 3 prospect and a naturally-gifted hitter. He batted .331 in 227 minor league games including a 1.309 OPS this spring. J-Rod is what they’re calling him and should be starting in the outfield for the Mariners come opening day.
- To Make the Playoffs – Cardinals – No (-115)

It’s clear no one knows what to expect with St. Louis. They bring a healthy mix of old and young guns. On the old side, we’re talking old with Yadier Molina, Wainwright, and Albert Pujols at age 39, 40, and 42 and all will see significant playing time. However, they got the young guns of Tommy Edman, O’Neil, and Dylan Carlson. Jack Flaherty is back and healthy, but the first-year coach Oliver Marmol doesn’t get to the postseason in his first year. They needed a crazy 17 game winning streak to make the wild card game last season.
- Most Regular Season Home Runs – Eloy Jimenez (+2500)

Naturally, the players who had the most home runs are going to be the favorites, and that’s where we pick up our lunch box. Vlad Jr., Tatis Jr., Pete Alonso, and Salavdor Perez lead this category all around +680 to +1500. We’ll be sitting back and watching a healthy Eloy rip them this summer.
