Action on Fourth’s Coverage of Spreads and Totals for 16 Bowl Games

Action on Fourth’s record this season on College Football spreads and totals is 72-59-2.

We are up 12.5 units and we fully believe if you ride these plays you will be profitable. Let’s get into it.

Tuesday, Dec. 29th

Cheeze-It Bowl – #21 Oklahoma St vs #18 Miami 4:30 pm ESPN

Wow, good one to start off the slate. Ok St. was recently on a 0-4 streak ATS, but finally broke that with a blowout against Baylor. No Chubba Hubbard, but Jackson the backup has been electric. Miami is 2-3 in their L5 ATS. They were recently blown out by UNC.

This Over/Under is high for a reason. Yes, OK St has a good D, but Miami can put up points… and Canes’ King fully wants to after recently announcing he is going to return.

The Play – Over 62 is the play here especially if Ok St wants to cover. It’s going to be a Big 12/ACC shootout. Miami’s two good D ends are sitting out for the Draft. Spread wise we lean Miami +1.  The line opened at -3 Ok St. and is now -1. Ride the public.

Alamo Bowl – #20 Texas vs #25 Colorado 8 pm ESPN

Wow, this line has moved a lot. We highlighted this game in the Under Two today. Herm Edwards is 3-0 in Bowl games under the helm. It’s Ehlinger’s final game in the Longhorn uniform. What’d Edhlinger say last year after their bowl win? “We’re back”

The Play – We’re nervous as the line opened at -12 and has fallen to -7.5. Colorado went 4-1 ATS the spread this season. UT is coming off a beat down on Kansas St. UT played OK  and Iowa St. close but didn’t cover either… We’ve gotta fade the public. Colorado won’t go 5-1 against the spread. Buy a half for -7. Hook ’em Horns.

Wednesday, December 30th

Duke’s Mayo Bowl – Wake Forest vs Wisconsin 11 am ESPN

Here we go again… Wisconsin literally can’t cover a game to save themselves. They’ve covered against a weak Illini team and Michigan team. Then got rekt by NW, Indian, Iowa, Minnesota. Again, they are -9.5 favorites against the Deacons. Wake is 4-1 in their L5 ATS they like to put up points, which is something Wisco can’t do.

The Play – Is it finally time to fade Wisco? Yes. Take WF points +10 and the Over to stay safe.

Cotton Bowl – #7 Florida vs #6 Oklahoma 7 pm ESPN

This should be a dandy. Gators put up points and so do the Sooners. Gators played the game of their life last week against Bama. Rattler is ready for the big stage.

The Play – Have to Hammer Boomer Sooner -3 and the Under in case OK forgets how to score.

Thursday, December 31st

Armed Forces Bowl – #24 Tulsa vs Miss St 11 am ESPN

Tulsa played really well against Cinncy last week, which earned them their ranking. Their dogs against the punching bag of the SEC.

The Play – MSSU has played well in all of their games this year including upsetting Mizzou and close against UGA and A&M. We think this is the right line. Buy a half for Miss St. +3.

Arizona Bowl – Ball St vs #22 San Jose St. 1 pm CBS

Had to do some research on these teams. Both teams have covered their last four games.

The Play – Overall, the teams SJSU has played are better than the Mac competition. Ball St. had the game of their life against. Buffalo. SJSU rolls -9.5.

Liberty Bowl – West Virginia  vs Army 3 pm ESPN

WVU got crushed by Iowa St, but played Texas and Texas Tech close. I think Vegas realizes this is one going to be one of those lopsided Power Teams vs. Services Teams games. WVU will be the best team Army has seen all year… WVU isn’t even good.

The Play – Army can’t score… sorry. WVU will figure out how to stop their option offense really quick and will have no problem covering -7. The O/U is 41. Hammer the Under. if WVU doesn’t cover this should smack because again, Army can’t score.

Friday, January 1st

Peach Bowl – #9 Georgia vs #8 Cincinnati 11 am ESPN

Feels like the old Auburn UCF game where the Non-Power 5 team has an extra chip on their shoulder after being left out.

The Play – Cinncy was in a dog fight with Tulsa last week, and they were not able to cover -14. This brings the line down to +7 against the bulldogs. We’re riding the Bearcats +7.

Citrus Bowl – Auburn vs #14 Northwestern Noon ABC

Bo Pix vs. the Wildcat D

The Play – ^ That’s all you need to know. Final game for Peyton Ramsey. NW covers -3 or -3.5 with EASE.

Rose Bowl – #4 Notre Dame vs #1 Alabama  3 pm ESPN

ND fans would have more confidence coming in if they didn’t get beaten down by Clemson.

The Play – Bama fans will say blowout, but with an O/U of 66.5 Vegas is telling us they think ND will put up a fight and score points. ND +20 is the play. We believe Teasing ND up to +27 is a lock.

Sugar Bowl – #3 Ohio St. vs #2 Clemson 7 pm ESPN

This should be good. Good news for the Buckeyes is star WR Chris Olave will be healthy to play.

The Play – OSU can put up points. Trey Sermon at RB is emerging and Olave is healthy. They put up numbers at the end of the NW game and NW is good. Meanwhile, we know who Clemson is. We saw ND was able to get by the D. We believe OSU can cover +7.5. We also believe Clemson will slow the game down and the U66.5 will smack.

Saturday, January 2nd

Taxslayer Bowl – #23 NC St vs Kentucky 11 am ESPN

This UK team has looked awful at times during this season. 3 points against UGA and Bama. NC St. has slid into the rankings at #23 coming off a 23-13 win against G Tech.

The Play –  NC St. +3.

Outback Bowl – Ole Miss vs #11 Indiana 11:30 am ABC

No Penix Jr. for IU did not affect them against Wisco. This IU team has a great Defense. Lane Train on the other hand loves to chuck it down the field.

The Play – With an O/U of 66.5 this game SCREAMS IU COVER. ALL DAY. It started at -6.5 and is now -8. Vegas thinks both teams are going to score a ton. They think it’ll be a blowout, but we know IU has a good enough D where they can get stops. Take the Under but IU -8 is a lock.

Fiesta Bowl – #25 Oregon vs #10 Iowa St 3 pm ESPN

Oregon eked by USC in the Pac-12 Championship. Iowa St struggled to score against Ok in the Big 12 Championship.

The Play – This game speaks to us Under 57.5. Iowa St. is going to slow it down, and they’re going to have to if they want to cover.

Orange Bowl – #5 Texas A&M vs #13 UNC 7 pm ESPN

UNC has scored 50+ in their last three games. They struggled against ND’s good defense, however, they had a good first quarter scoring 14. A&M’s D is nothing like ND’s.

The Play – This one was easy for us. UNC has a high powered offense that is going to be to much for A&M’s D. UNC +7.5 and compliment that with the over. The line started at UNC +6, so we’re fading the Pub.
