We absolutely love the airlines right now… This is a similar scenario from back in June… specifically June 8th, when the airlines peaked and everyone in their mom was watching Portnoy say “We fly in this country.” Well, July came and the Rona spread throughout the Sunbelt states distressing the airline companies back to pandemic lows. TSA numbers reveal there is a slow recovery (About 720k in August vs. about 400k in June), but there is still a ton of people not flying, specifically business travelers. However, with that special cleaning coating that came out yesterday and the airlines already at extremely low prices… We think this is a buy the dip opportunity and let it ride. Some names: Delta, American, Southwest, United Airlines. |
