Action on Fourth NFL Week 3 Preview and Picks

Action On Fourth NFL Week 3 Preview and Picks

Houston Texans (+3) at Chicago Bears (-3)

Good weather in Chicago for a duel of bottom tier teams. Lovie Smith returning to Chicago is great. The Lovie defense has been solid thus far through the season and I expect a low scoring game in this one.

  • Consider
    • Brandin Cooks ATTD +170
    • David Montgomery ATTD +115

Las Vegas Raiders (-1.5) at Tennessee Titans (+1.5)

I don’t think the Titans have done anything to deserve this close of a spread. Vegas has had a tough first two week task and are still favored on the road. Carr has looked solid at times and he will be challenged against the strong defensive backs of the Titans.

  • Picks
    • Darren Waller ATTD +170- 1u
    • Raiders -1.5 -110 1u
    • Zamir White ATTD +700 .25u
      • Could see an increased workload due to Jacobs illness.

Kansas City Chiefs (-5) at Indianapolis Colts (+5)

The Colts looked abysmal last week missing key contributors on each side of the ball. Not sure why they did not utilize Taylor more, but I expect an increased workload this week as the offense should be more dynamic. I expect a duel, but the Chiefs should win this one.

  • Consider
    • Chiefs ML -225
    • Kelce ATTD -125
    • Jerick McKinnon ATTD +240

Buffalo Bills (-4) at Miami Dolphins (+4)

The Bills secondary is hugely depleted this game. Micah Hyde being placed on IR is a huge loss. The Bills have looked dominant, but they are facing an offense that could possibly keep up with them given the injuries and shorter time to plan for the game with them.

  • Picks
    • Dolphins ML +220 1u
    • Tyreek Hill ATTD -110
    • Jaylen Waddle ATTD +140

Detroit Lions (+6.5) at Minnesota Vikings (-6.5)

The Lions look solid, but the Vikings are getting big respect at home. The Lions have one of the highest paid offenses and are facing huge play threats in Dalvin Cook and Justin Jefferson. I expect a high scoring battle.

  • Picks
    • Lions +7.5 -140 1u
    • Adam Thielen ATTD +150 1u

Baltimore Ravens (-2.5) at New England Patriots (+2.5)

Ravens get JK Dobbins back after blowing a huge lead to the talented Dolphins. I think the Patriots are getting a lot of respect here at home. In a highly competitive AFC North, this is a must win for the Ravens.

  • Picks
    • Ravens -2.5 -110 1u
    • JK Dobbins ATTD +175 1u

Cincinnati Bengals (-6.5) at New York Jets (+6.5)

The Bengals offense has looked amazing at times, but the offensive line additions have not worked out so far as Burrow continues to get sacked at a high rate. The Jets have rookies toughing out some injuries and pulled an amazing come back last week that I don’t think Burrow will allow for.

  • Picks
    • Tee Higgins +140 ATTD 1u
  • Consider
    • Bengals -6.5
    • Garrett Wilson ATTD +240
    • Joe Mixon ATTD -125

Philadelphia Eagles (-6) at Washington Commanders (+6)

Return to Philadelphia for Carson Wentz and the Commanders. Their offense has put up huge passing numbers thus far this season with a huge role in the offense for Samuel, Mclaurin, and Dotson. The Eagles secondary is coming off one of the best performances I have seen.

  • Picks
    • Carson Wentz over .5 INT- -188. 2u

New Orleans Saints (-2) at Carolina Panthers (+2)

Baker has been struggling on the Panthers so far. There is a lot of big play making potential on this offense, but the Saints defense has been solid thus far. This is a big divisional matchup and I expect a duel.

  • Picks
    • Alvin Kamara ATTD +120 1u

Jacksonville Jaguars (+3.5) at Los Angeles Chargers (-3.5)

The Chargers should have a limited game plan for Herbert if he plays through his broken Ribs. This should be an interesting game. The Jaguars offense has looked much improved for the odds each player is getting to score.

  • Picks
    • Etienne ATTD +300 .33u

Las Angeles Rams (-3.5) at Arizona Cardinals (+3.5)

The Cardinals posted an absurd comeback last week against a talented Raiders team. On top of it, the Cardinals roster has been designed to battle against the Rams. I expect a duel even though both teams have looked sloppy at times.

  • Consider
    • Allen Robinson ATTD +170
    • Under 48.5

Atlanta Falcons (+1) at Seattle Seahawks (-1)

Battle for the number one pick potentially in this one. Falcons have played much better football thus far, but I am not sure they have the talent to take down the 12th man and the talented WR Corps of Seattle.

  • Consider
    • Falcons ML +100
    • DK Metcalf +150 ATTD

Green Bay Packers (+1.5) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-1.5)

Tampa Bay is struggling at WR Depth, recently promoting Beasly to the active roster. I think he could be a sleeper pick, but when Rodgers is an under dog, you bet him.

  • Picks
    • Green Bay ML +110 1u

SNF San Francisco 49ers (-1.5) at Denver Broncos (+1.5)

This is a trap game. Denver has looked terrible all year, Jimmy G in his first start of the year, but away at Denver. My gut says the Niners, my brain says the Broncos.

  • Picks
    • Deebo Samuel ATTD +110 1u
