NFL Draft 2021: Mock Draft + Favorite Prop Bets

This should be a fun draft with the potential of 5 QBs and 5 Receivers likely to be drafted in the first round, and overall, many notable names on the board.

We have the first round mocked out along with three of our favorite prop bets you should take for tonight.

  1. Jaguars: Trevor Lawrence (QB – Clemson)

No surprises. We like his quote, “It’s not like I need this for my life to be O.K.” Wow, that’s scary confidence and the Jags got an instant starter.

  1. Jets: Zach Wilson (QB – BYU)

Interesting decision to move on from Darnold. Makes sense, but we’ll see if he pans out to be any better with a poor roster.

  1. Niners: Mac Jones (QB – Alabama)

First pick, where there is no lock. No one trades up to get anything other than a QB right? We’re looking at Mac Jones. Oddsmakers have adjusted accordingly as Mac is -270 to go third

  1. Falcons: Kyle Pitts (TE- Florida)

Cannot pass on this beast. Sticking it out with Matt Ryan?

  1. Bengals: Ja’Marr Chase (WR – LSU)

Sat out this past year because… he could. Dynamic route runner and linking up with his old LSU QB, Burrow.

  1. Dolphins: Penei Swell (T – Oregon)

Easily the Best Linemen in this draft. Dolphins need some protection for Tua. The second choice would be getting one of Tua’s old WRs… Waddle would be our choice.

  1. Lion: Jaylen Waddle (WR – Alabama)

If Waddle falls to the Lions they’ll quickly gobble him up. Waddle is coming off a leg injury but was able to be somewhat back for the National Championship game. Waddle is as dynamic as they get.

  1. Panthers: Rashawn Slater (T – Northwestern)

This guy is a unit. The clear #2 pick behind Sewell, but the Panthers pick up some nice protection for Sam Darnold.

  1. Washington (Traded up with Broncos at 19): Trey Lance (QB – North Dakota St.)

Had to get cheeky with the mock and throw in some trades, but we think this is definitely one that can and should happen. Washington needs a QB (So does Denver) and trades up to get Trey Lance.

  1. Cowboys: Patrick Surtain (CB – Alabama)

This pick has been known for so long – Surtain just feels like he belongs in Dallas. Surtain is a shutdown corner, and Dallas badly needs one.

  1. Giants: Micah Parsons (LB – Penn St)

Someone help this defense! Another year of Daniel Jones and Saquon, so the Giants turn to the D.

  1. Patriots (Traded up with Eagles at 15): Justin Fields (QB – Ohio St)

Sneaky Bill Belicheck might’ve just found a future franchise QB. Fields will improve immensely under Newton & the Pats staff.

  1. Chargers: Christian Darrisow (T – Virginia Tech)

6’ 5” 313 in your program. Big steal for the Chargers here as they get some needed protection for Herbert

  1. Vikings: Kwity Paye (D End – Michigan)

One of those Hybrid D ends/ Outside Linebackers… Lot like Leonard Floyd. Paye can move, great tackler, and has seen real competition over his time in Michigan.

  1. Eagles: DeVonta Smith (WR – Alabama)

This is our biggest surprise in this mock. Since 2011 only three Heisman winners went later than 15. We have the Eagles trading down a bit because they sensed Smith falling. The old Alabama combo of Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith will be must-watch TV.

  1. Cardinals: Jaycee Horn (CB – South Carolina)

Watched Horn a few times this past season. Definitely one of the better corners in the SEC last year and will help an already great Cardinals Defense and secondary. The Cardinals allowed the 10th fewest opponents points per game at 21.8.

  1. Raiders: Alijah Vera-Tucker (T – USC)

A steal for the Raiders. We could see Vera-Tucker being drafted much earlier. Great highlight tape.

  1. Dolphins: Jaelan Phillips (D End – Miami)

The Dolphins go defense with their second pick in the first round. Former UCLA guy transferred to the U… he’s solid.

  1. Broncos: Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (LB – Notre Dame)

A tackling machine. He’ll help one of the worse defenses in the league last year. A smart trade down by the Broncos if they’re going to stay with Drew Lock.

  1. Bears: Greg Newsome (CB – Northwestern)

Pretty standard Bears pick… nothing to flashy… not to knock Newsome. They let Kyle Fuller walk and get Newsome now on a cheaper rookie contract. He played some solid D, but he better get ready to see a lot better competition.

  1. Colts: Teven Jenkins (T – Oklahoma St)

Jenkins will be ecstatic to go 21. He’ll be playing behind a reenergized Colts team with Wentz.

  1. Titans: Rashod Bateman (WR – Minnesota)

Bateman was consistently burning Big Ten DBs all year. The Titans get a loaded offense.

  1. Jets: Azeez Ojuiari (D End – Georgia)

Jets snag a game-changing QB and now a game-changing D End

  1. Bucs (Traded Up with Steelers at 32): Trevon Moehrig (S – TCU)

Easily the best safety in the draft. We like his prop for under 26.5.

  1. Jaguars: Walker Little (T – Stanford)

6’ 7” 320, the dude is not that little

  1. Browns: Jayson Owah (D End – Penn St)

Garrett, Clowney, and now Owah. Wow, watch out

  1. Ravens: Terrance Marshall (WR – LSU)

Great hands, great fit for the Ravens

  1. Saints: Caleb Farley (CB – Virginia Tech)

Needed some secondary help.

  1. Packers: Asante Samuel Jr (CB – Florida St)

Bold pick not going offense here, but they need some secondary help and Samuel is the best DB left.

  1. Bills: Gregory Rousseau (D End – Miami)

Great edge rusher – really completing this Bills team

  1. Ravens: Dillion Radunz (T – North Dakota St)

Some needed protection for Lamar.

  1. Steelers: Najee Harris (RB – Alabama)

Steelers have made it clear they want an RB and Harris is the best in the draft. Can’t wait to see this Big Ben/Najee combo

Best Prop bets you can make:

Juiced: Najee Harris first RB Drafted (-275)

The only competition here would be Travis Etienne from Clemson (+125), but we think that’s Vegas trying to make it look like Etienne has a chance. Steelers and Twitter has made it sound like Najee is their guy.

Even: Number of Offensive players drafted in the first round Over 18.5 (-110)

This line was at 17.5, and we should have no problem getting to 18 with the 5 QB locks, at least 6 Tackle locks (We have 7 mocked), 4 WR locks (We have 5 mocked), and Kyle Pitts as a lock. That’s 16 locks and we’ll need the last Tackle, WR, and Najee Harris to hit the over.

Underdog: Moehrig Under 26.5 (+115) & Jaycee Horn Over 12.5 (+120)

The best safety in this draft class – If anyone team needs one he’ll be their first option giving him a solid chance to get drafted earlier than expected. We have him mocked at 24.

Jaycee is the second-best corner here behind Surtain we have him mocked at 16 going to the Cardinals, but the sweater here will be the Eagles at 12 who also need secondary help. We think if Smith or Waddle is still on the board the Eagles will take him, which will cash our ticket.
